NewPartyPurpose

The Easthampton Learning Foundation and Emily Williston Library will be hosting a “Party for a Purpose” dinner dance & Auction at the Log Cabin banquet facility in Holyoke Massachusetts on Friday March 2, 2018 from 6pm to midnight.

The Easthampton Learning Foundation is a non-profit organization, continuing to build an endowment and provide educational grants to the Easthampton Public School System.

The Emily Williston Library, a private non-profit library, serves our full community by providing books, DVDs, computer access, extensive children’s and adult programming and so much more. Our fundraising goals include current building foundation repairs and the concurrent renovation of the youth library, with a vision for continued services for years to come. Welcome to the Easthampton Learning Foundation

Thank you for taking a moment to browse the Easthampton Learning Foundation’s website.

Our objective is quite simple.
We will work to build an endowment, with an initial goal of one million dollars, to provide grants from its earnings. 100% of the funds we raise will serve one purpose; to make possible innovative, hands-on learning programs which otherwise would not be funded by local school budgets.

At no time is foundation money spent on maintenance, administrative or other normal costs associated with education in our local schools. The foundation is autonomous, and thus not subject to influence from any school, any municipal department or any civic group.

A "blind" review by a volunteer panel is used to determine our mini-grants, called Learning Enhancement Grants. Applicants may include faculty, support services and staff. They are required to encompass some aspect of science, English, math, technology, social sciences or the arts in their proposal. Proposals must be for higher learning which otherwise would not be possible to provide for our local students.

We hope you will find this website informative, and consider supporting our learning foundation to better our community future by education and experience. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about and your help in supporting the Easthampton Learning Foundation!
